Does anyone know of a good way to find or to approximate tire spring rates for the types of tires we use? Not so interested in sending them off to get tested or anything like that.

I would like to get to the point where a half-way accurate Adams model could be built, but since so much of offroading can require low tire pressures, they end up heavily effecting ride/roll characteristics. Of course, I am planning on pursuing this on the tail end of this year and am in the process of ordering our net DAQ system.

If you are in the mood to post numbers or examples, please justify or source them.

I weighed my self, and a flat plate of steel, then put the steep on the tire, measured up from the ground, then sat on the plate and measured again. used the displacment and my known weight to calculate lb/in spring rate. used a couple other members of different weights to verify using same method.  not 100% accurate, but close enough.
