In the SAE Baja rules it indicates that manufacturer's documentation indicating bolt strength must be supplied.

Due to bolt strength being indicated on at the store when purchase is made I'm unsure as to what SAE is looking for and I have looked at the manufacturers website however am seeing nothing that might fulfill this requirement. I am concerned that I am missing something obvious. Can someone please enlighten me?

Well, we have never used any documentation from the manufacturer about the bolt's strength before. All we had to show was the receipt of purchase and to validate that the bolt satisfies the grade as mentioned in the rulebook.

My understanding of this rule ( to fully verify please submit a rules question) is that the technical inspectors can request documentation if they see fit. they are only likely to do this if the stamped markings on the head of the bolt are missing, unreadable, or modified in some way. if the head is clearly manufacturer stamped with one of the markings listed in the rules book under article 14, you will be fine. just make sure there's 2 threads showing.
