Post vendor parts and discounts here!  Teams may not known that there are special mini baja parts discounts out there on shocks, sometimes milling services!

Edit:  Guys post whatever you want here, I'll change the name of the thread if you feel the name isn't appropriate.  (i.e. I can change it to vendors list if that's all that is in here)

Is this to be a vendor list as well? Or only vendors that give discounts?

Also, can this be made into a single sticky post that is updated as people post their vendors/discounts/etc...?

It gets difficult to sort through this stuff once you have 100 posts to dig through.

I'll post the vendors I most frequently use later if indeed this is not just limited to vendors who give discounts.

SAE wanted me to pass this link along.  It was an earlier start at a similar list on their forum.

Get the headrest foam from  http://www.rollbarpadding.com/home.html - http://www.rollbarpadding.com/home.html

Just mention you're on an SAE Baja team, and they'll give you 50% off, plus a bunch of help on how best to glue it, cut it, etc.

*The foam exactly follows SAE rules, if the judges ever check.

Went ahead and added the current contributions to the lead post, per Dillon's request. Otherwise the list becomes unmanageable.

I think adding both vendors and parts/services discounts in one list is better for now. When it becomes too unruly, we'll separate them out.

Use your SAE membership to buy books from their online store. You can get a set of Carrol Smith's books for $79, which is a bit cheaper than I found it elsewhere. There's a good discount on RCVD too.

Hi,

We are from Dubai and participating for the first time.

Sad to say, but we haven't got the fox discount here too. I guess they should make the sponsorship a little flexible!

Nehashj  It would be worth contacting Fox U.S.A. or Canada and asking if shipping to Dubai is possible

H2R / Fox Canada hooked us up today with a deal equal to the Fox U.S.A. offer . Thanks to them for that

If you want carbon fiber, this is the place to go. They're still a relatively new company, but they are also the most lagite carbon fiber dealer in the USA

Hi Everyone,
I have a full Baja SAE for sale. The car contained fox shocks, dana box, modified axels, 10 HP engine,  and Polaris parts. The car run great.I bought the car after the school decided to stop the baja program. I am not asking too much out of the car. I am almost giving the car away. The reason is that I was the team captain of the BRCC baja team captain for two years, and I know how hard to get parts and to work around budget. The car have around 15 hours of driving. I am asking around $1500 or Best offer.
For more info feel free to send me the questions at qstabail@ncsu.edu.
Regards,
Gus

Does anyone know where I can get the throttle cable bracket for the model 19 engine?

Unless they changed the design from the model 20, my advise would be to design one yourself.
