Hello,

I keep getting confused in regards to the engagement of a CVT. I read the Aaen handbook but everything still isn't clear.

While tuning, is our goal quicker engagement, which in turn means a lower engagement RPM? Because the engine would reach a lower RPM quicker and hence engage the belt for faster acceleration.

And what kind of engagement speeds do you guys usually get/ aim for?
I programmed a little force balance and generated a theoretical shift curve that shows a theoretical engagement RPM of 960. Does that sound correct?

Sorry for this many questions, and thanks in advance for reading.
