Hello,

I have a doubt regarding the rule B.3.2.7 - LDB – Lateral Diagonal Bracing.

To meet team’s goals for chassis, we opted to make the Lateral Diagonal Bracing as showed in the picture which address is attached below. This configuration is previewed and considered acceptable by the brazilian’s regulation, however there is nothing on the american regulation that approves or desapproves this kind of bracing.

As seen on the rule, the LDB designed by the team, extend from one RRH vertical member to the other, top and bottom intersection between LDB and RRH vertical members are less  than  5in from points A and B and the angle between the LDB and the RRH vertical members are greater than 20 deg.

Thereby, I wonder if this configuration would also be valid on a competition organized by SAE International.

Best regards,

Magno Santos.
