Hi Everyone,
I had a quick question. If we have a part that we got thru a sponsor ship at a discounted price (free) and it was an expensive part (King Shocks) how do we go about inputting that into the cost report. Do we add it straight from the Data Base or is there another way of inputting the part into the cost report without raising the total cost.
Thank You.

when doing the cost report, you must use the database. please read the rulebook regarding the cost report. you must report the RETAIL cost of anything you put on your car, regardless of the price you paid for it. this includes items that you got for free.

the idea behind this competition is that you are designing a prototype vehicle. so the idea of the cost report is what would it cost for an actual company to build a prototype?
