Registration is free. There is a $20 gate fee that everyone must pay, however.

Tickets for Midnight Mayhem VII will be available for purchase starting at Noon (EST) today! Everyone attending Midnight Mayhem is required to purchase a ticket either online or at the gate upon arrival to Nickota. ATTENTION Mayhem Fans, this just in! This year’s Louisville SAE Midnight Mayhem VII Endurance Race is going to be broadcast LIVE to YouTube! “Mayhem Live” will capture live video feeds throughout the race from multiple cameras placed around the track, and four cockpit cameras! We’ll also feature one roaming camera throughout the pits and paddock areas to interview drivers, pit crews, and students for the duration of the event! But we don’t want to just show you the event – we want you to be involved! If you have questions about Midnight Mayhem, Baja SAE, or the endurance race in general, tweet @ULMayhem using the hashtag #ULMayhem and our announcers will answer them on Mayhem Live! Attention all Baja SAE Teams! Registration for Midnight Mayhem VII will close at 11:59 PM EDT on Friday, September 24th!!! This is first time we've had to officially close registration and it is simply due to the extremely large number of teams and cars that have already registered. Thank you all for making this the largest unofficial Baja SAE race of the year (and maybe ever)!!
Again, registration closes on Friday. If your team is planning to attend Mayhem and has not registered you need to have it submitted this week! |

Last day for mayhem registration.
Also there are some kind of custom made lamps from Cummins that you can win for having cool lights on your car this year. And I'm going to be announcing on the livestream. If you guys have any funny things about your cars/teams you want on the air you should tell me.

A couple of cars on lap 2 got re routed around the transponder wire following the big mess right before the RedBull arch. Does anyone know if those cars were credited for those laps? |

I'm pretty sure the lap count was reset after the track was reconfigured so those laps did not count.

Rasmuet is correct. We reset the lap count when we went started the race again.
