My front tyres have dog-bone knobs pattern of 7" width. I have noticed that my tyres are not rolling but are being dragged/slipping when I steer them at any direction, irrespective of the vehicle speed. We have used Anti ackermann steering for our steering geometry and have expected this to happen. But we have observed few teams, that they have acheived perfect Anti ackermann without any slippage/dragging the tyre. How can we acheive this condition??Is it because of camber change or slip angle difference??Can we definitely say that this problem can be eliminated in Ackermann Steering and maintain a good contact patch with no slip??

Why do you want anti-Ackerman?
Altough it's not the best for offroad, an Ackerman geometry would be a better starting point... |
