This forum's software (Webwiz) is a bit different than what you're used to (vBulletin/phpBB), so here is a short FAQ on how to upload files in order to link them on the forum.
To upload a file to your File Manager: Click on "Member Control Panel" in upper left hand corner. Click on "File Manger" tab Click "New Upload" Browse to desired file Click Upload Note the allowable file types. If your file is not one of the listed types, zip it and then upload it. Otherwise you will not be able to upload the file. Once uploaded, the pictures/files will be accessible via the "File Upload" and "Insert Picture" button. Make sense? |

Hey Jeremy,
This still does not work, I tried to upload .pdf, even when zipped it says wrong file type. Sorry if I am missing something obvious. How do I upload the .pdf? Thanks, Adam |

Sorry for the late respone. Missed your reply somehow.
After you click on "New Upload" you need to choose the correct option from the pulldown. Choose "Image Upload" if you are uploading some kind of image.
Choose "File Upload" if you are uploading a file. This is what you'd need to select for a PDF.
If you choose "Image Upload" and select a PDF, you will get an error saying you have the wrong type of file.
Make sense?

No,
When you go to file manager and click New upload, there is no drop down box to choose file. All I can seem to get is the image upload.
Can you upload a random PDF just to show it can be done, I am having a lot of trouble :)
Thanks,

Looks like the default for this software is to disable file uploads for the first user tier (Bolt Sorter). Administrator has fixed it now. Upload away!
