I think most people realize the search button is less than optimal. That is a function of the forum software, which is out of our control. However, you can do a few things to make searching for the info you want and need easier.

#1 - When you click on the Search button, click on "Advanced Search". Change the "Find Posts" drop down from "Last 6 Months" to "Any Date". Why is this the default? I have no clue. We've yet to find the switch to change it in the admin panel.

#2 - Search from Google. Head to google.com and put in "site:http://forums.bajasae.net/forum/" before your search terms. This should give you results from this forum only. We're looking to add a Google search window, but this is an easy workaround until then.

Happy Searching!
