which type of materials r used for emission control other than palladium,rodium,platinum.

Asking such a direct question is not going to give you any answers, especially with Catalytic converters as the material combination used is the key to winning the event. 

Instead, I would suggest you to go through some research papers (for example IISc. ones) which focus on the subject of "emission control".  This should give you enough information to work with.
