hello,
We are new to baja community.I want to know about the differentials used by the regular teams. Last year we used a gear box -differential-driveshaft setup from a three wheeler (mahindera alpha).
This time we are planing to have our own gear assembly and we want to know differentials available for baja

polaris has many differentials available as part of the sponsorship program. that would be a good place to start.

you don't necessarily need a diff., my team has never run one, and we've never felt like we needed one either. many teams have success with a locked spool setup
Any problem you will ever encounter in life can be solved; all you need is a big enough hammer

Maybe it would be a problem if it was road racing, but it's not rare to drive on loose grave/dirt

Our custom diff design is based off the 2002 Ranger front diff. Any of the Polaris designs would work, some better than others.Wink
