Hi,
I'm a member of Baja SAE for Cal Poly SLO and am looking to buy a new engine for this year but am running into problems with getting one of the three approved engine models from Briggs and Stratton. Briggs is saying that they dont sell any of the three engines listed in the rule book in California. How do I get one of those engines if Briggs wont sell it? Are there any teams out there looking to sell an engine? How did other California Baja teams get engines this year? Thanks for your help.

Man, CARB is a bitch. Have you tried calling dealers in Nevada/Oregon to see if they would ship you one?
