Part of the rule says:
The side impact members are joined to the RRH and extend generally forward, at least as far as a point forward of every driver’s toes, when seated in normal driving position. The forward ends of the SIM members are joined by an LC. The intersection of the SIM members with this LC define the points SFR and SFL. In my design, these members are joined at the front to the FBM, and are not extended in front of the driver's feet. However, the FBM are joined by a front LC, and the driver positioned entirely inside the roll cage. This configuration could be approved as to this rule? Thanks. |
