    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forums.bajasae.net/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=88" rel="nofollow">johnpate01</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Steering Rack<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 2010-Sep-07 at 6:30pm<br /><br />We had swapped our good tires for some kind of 12" wide mud-bog-type tires that we didn't care if they got ruined since we were testing on asphalt.  I had been testing with the suspension set to max soft, which is REALLY soft.  It nearly went over when I took a moderately fast corner.  I am a really little guy (135 lbs) then we swapped our largest driver in and I forgot to stiffen our shocks to compensate.  Well, he made a high-speed run down the parking garage ramp and through our parking lot.  Instead of braking, he cut the wheel to full lock and held it.  Our suspension has zero self-centering, its a tall vehicle, and it's heavy.  Without enough front or rear roll stiffness and a lot of traction, he goes over pretty hard.  He actually left divots in the parking lot where the RHO hit.  He was completely fine, since I enforced safety gear requirements every time, but it was hilarious to see.]]>
